Lateral drain cutting is a relatively new drain technology using remotely controlled and robotic grinders and cutters to remove total and partial blockages from the drainage system without having to excavate and disrupt the pipe and sewer system. A large CCTV colour display and precision robotic controls even allows us to cut around bends.
We have provided a major investment in the very latest specialist robotic lateral cutting equipment featuring a variety of industrial strength grinding & cutting heads to suit any blockage, which allows us to remove an assortment of materials including concrete, tree roots, drain rods stuck in pipe, drain rods plunger stuck in pipe, cement, metal, failed drain liners, warped pipes and we can also re-open lateral connections. Our drain cutting machine can operate in pipes of a variety of length and size.
Our lateral drain cutting equipment is also ideal for removing collapsed or damaged drain liners from the drainage system. We can remove the drain liner and are experts at re-applying it. Our lateral cutting services also include cutting back damaged liner and repairing it with an epoxy patch repair.

DC SUPER FLEX Drain Cutter
We purchased the DC SUPER FLEX because we believe it is one of the best lateral drain cutters you can buy. It is a powerful cutter for cutting, milling and grinding pipes from 75-150mm diameter, regardless of material and regardless of whether the pipe is straight or has bends. It has a flexible, advanced cutter, focused on reliability, simplicity and saving time.
The DC SUPER FLEX has a wheeled stainless-steel frame that holds the supply hoses, control unit and cutter. The cutter is all ready connected to the supply hose, and air and power are connected to the system. The cutter is inserted into the pipe up to its working position. The hose has a reach of 25 or 50 metres.
The DC SUPER FLEX is easy to operate using the two joysticks on the frame-mounted control unit. A 12.1" colour display is built into the control unit's lid, providing a sharp, precise image of the cutter's position. The milling motor's rotation and functions – such as raising, lowering and running back and forth – are operated from the control unit. An automatic feeder and slip ring are built into the frame so the supply hose can be smoothly moved back and forth during the work. The cutter is also equipped with a built-in slip ring which enables the cutter to work freely in a continuous 360-degree rotation. The spray nozzle for cleaning the camera is also operated from the control unit. The control unit also features a video inlet and outlet.
A centring toolset and extension bracket are included. These are mounted on the cutter to mill pipes with a diameter of 150mm. VR goggles can be connected to the display on the control unit to maximise work precision.

The DC SUPER FLEX has a versatile range of special-purpose, milling and cutting heads for all PVC materials, cement, concrete, cast iron and steel.
The cutters are 100% made in Denmark.
The milling motor's rotation and functions – such as raising, lowering and running back and forth – are operated from the control unit. The cutter is also equipped with a built-in slip ring which enables the cutter to work freely in a continuous 360° rotation.
Cutter maintenance is minimal, as it is made of a high-quality stainless-steel alloy.
DC SUPER FLEX Control Unit
The DC SUPER FLEX is steered with two joysticks from the control unit. A 12.1" colour display is built into the control unit's lid, providing a sharp, precise image of the cutter's position. The images can be viewed from the cutter's own camera or an external camera, and the image can also be reversed so it mirrors the operators movements.
The milling motor's rotation and functions – such as raising, lowering and running back and forth – are operated from the control unit. The spray nozzle for cleaning the camera is also operated from the control unit.
The control unit has inlet and outlet sockets for connecting a video, computer, external camera and VR goggles.
DC SUPER FLEX Centring Tool Set
The DC SUPER FLEX centring tool set allows us to operate in pipes with a diameter of 150mm. The centring tool set keeps the cutter centred in the pipe and ensures that it operates with equal precision all the way round.
Naturally, DC SUPER FLEX's centring tool set also meets our high requirements for ensuring that the cutter is flexible yet simple to set up and operate. The brass slide bushing in the rotating centring ring ensures that the cutter continues to operate unimpeded with a 360° continuous rotation, even when the centring toolset is mounted. At the same, the wheels on the centring tool set make it much easier to push the cutter out to remote distances.
